Gillian Malpass, formerly art and architecture publisher at Yale University Press London, is the CEO. The board of trustees is chaired by John Nicoll, former owner of Frances Lincoln Ltd and director of Yale University Press Ltd. Brian Allen, formerly Director of Studies, Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art; Timothy Knox, Director of the Royal Collection; Andrea Rose; Timothy Sanderson; Andrew Sutch; and Richard Mason, chartered accountant, are also trustees.

The firm is registered in England and Wales under charity registration number 1117563, and as a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales under company registration number 5938575. The registered office is 2nd Floor, 23 Bedford Row, London, WC1R 4EB.
